Alexandros Papadimitriou

Alexandros Papadimitriou is currently a doctoral student in Philosophy of Law at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). His dissertation topic is “History and normativity in Montesquieu’s work”, supervised by the Emeritus Professor Konstantinos Papageorgiou. He holds an M.A. in Political Science and Sociology (Political Science and Social Theory) from the School of Economics and Political Sciences of the NKUA (Honors), as well as a B.A. in Law from the Law School of the NKUA. He has also published articles concerning the social theory of Karl Marx, Max Weber and Antonio Gramsci. His academic interests include i) History of Political Ideas, especially those of the Enlightenment era, ii) Philosophy of Law, iii) Social Theory and iv) Political Philosophy.
