Varvara I. Chatzigeorgiou
My name is Vera Chatzigeorgiou and I am aPhD Candidate at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athenssince March 2022. I holdan LL.M in Public International Law (with distinction, 2020) and an LL.B (2018) from the same University. My doctoral research focuses on the application of due diligence during health emergency situations. Currently I am working as a Junior Associate providing legal and secretariat assistance to Director General at the Natural Environment and Climate Change Agency (NECCA), a competent national authority supervised by the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy. Previously, I worked for Interamerican S.A, a multinational insurance company seated in Athens, Greece. My areas of interest include public international law, international environmental law, international dispute settlement, international economic law. I am fluent in English, French, German.
